"Dark truffle and black currant at the surface — chocolate and incense in the deep. A fragrance that seduces without explanation."
Black Truffle opens first — earthy, deeply rich, unlike anything in conventional perfumery. Black Currant adds a tart, dark fruitiness alongside it. Ylang-Ylang, Bergamot, Gardenia and Jasmine layer over both — heady, intoxicating, slightly narcotic. Citrus threads a faint brightness through the darkness, stopping the opening from feeling too dense. This is not a quiet opening. It commands the room from the first spray.
Black Orchid blooms at the centre — dark, exotic, impossible to ignore. Spicy notes amplify the heat around it. Fruity notes add unexpected richness. Lotus contributes a cool, watery floral counterpoint. Gardenia returns — softer now — wrapping the heart in a dark, velvety florality. This is a heart that evolves on skin. No two wearings are identical.
Patchouli grounds everything with deep, earthy warmth. Sandalwood adds creaminess and structure. Mexican Chocolate brings an indulgent, slightly bitter richness — the note that makes this fragrance truly unforgettable. Incense carries a resinous, ceremonial depth. Amber glows beneath everything. Vetiver adds a final smoky earthiness. Vanilla and White Musk seal the entire dry-down in a soft, skin-close warmth that lasts for hours.
Apply to pulse points — wrists, neck, inner elbow. Body warmth draws out the chocolate and orchid, deepening the fragrance dramatically over time.

I am being strategic with my ratings. This is exceptional. But I want to experience the range before committing all my fives.
No shame. Third bottle in eleven months. Some habits are worth keeping.
That balance is genuinely difficult to achieve. Most things that are interesting are too loud. This is not.
Found Fraalic through a London friend. Ordered Abime on a whim. Completely changed what I thought oil perfume could be.
I used to just grab whatever was on offer. Abime made me realise fragrance could be something worth thinking about.
