Bright grapefruit and a twist of orange peel, then black pepper and pink pepper cracked over them — sharp, dry, awake. A green edge of geranium and a strike of flint, like stone on stone.
Underneath, vetiver takes over: rooty, earthy, a little smoky. Cedar straightens it, patchouli deepens it, and a soft benzoin keeps it from ever turning cold.
